Upgrading - Images Not Found

Recommended Posts

  • 2 weeks later...

what are you bumping exactly?  the issue with your missing images, or the new error you posted?

You are likely not going to receive any help, because you fail to answer the questions that you have been asked...  why don't you start by documenting the EXACT steps that you have taken to perform the upgrade...

I'm upgrading from 1.4.7.3 to the latest version

I downloaded the latest version of prestashop and put it in a local directory on the server.

I use the backup function to backup everything including my images.

server performance is on low

disable non-native modules is on No

upgrade the default theme is on Yes

Switch to default theme is on No

Upgrade the default emails is on No

I put the shop in maintenence mode

Click on Upgrade Prestashop now

then it goes through backing up and installing new files.

It shows this error: [ERROR] PHP 1.5.0.13 /* PHP:p15013_add_missing_columns(); */ 1 - Table 'worldwid_shop.ps_statssearch' doesn't exist,Table 'worldwid_shop.ps_statssearch' doesn't exist
Warning detected during upgrade.

Then it says it completed succesfully.

If put the shop back online none of my product images show.

So I installed PS v1.4.7.3 on my localhost.  I installed the latest version of the autoupgrade module (1.6.7) and performed an upgrade to PS v1.6.1.3 without any issue or error.

In your previous post you said...

Why are you downloading the latest version of Prestashop?  The auto upgrade module will default to using that version and will download it directly.

You also said the following..

I use the backup function to backup everything including my images.

1) I would not use the backup function in the upgrade module.  It takes too long and can cause timeout errors to occur.  Just take your own backups of the entire database and website content before doing the upgrade...

non-native modules can interfere with an upgrade... disable or uninstall them.  most likely they do not work in PS v1.6 anyway and you would have to find new versions anyway

Your theme in v1.4 will not work in v1.6.  You should switch to the new default theme
