Maintenance Mode

I accidentally switched my website to maintenance mode while looking at the 1 click upgrade  module. I want to switch it off Maintenance mode so I googled how to do this but even though I am logged in as super admin there are menu option missing i.e when I select Administration all I can see are the following options. Preferences, Quick access, Employees, Profiles, Permissions, Menus.  There is n option for maintenance.  Why cant I see this and other options? Can anyone help?

I mis-typed my post. There is no Maintenance option. Only the ones I listed. How do I get the maintenance option to appear.

Ah ok when I select preferences I can see the following.

 

General

Upload Quota

Help

Notifications.

 

None of these show anything to do with maintenance.

I still think you are looking in the administration menu, You need the MAIN preferences menu (see image)

 

 

If it is not in the MAIN preferences section then look in Administration > Menu as that is where all the menus can be moved around
