How To Fix My Url

I am using Prestashop version 1.6.1.2. I put this question in a previous topic, but it is probably better to open a new thread, so here goes: My shop URL has got /prestashop.index.php after it, even though I have moved all the files out of the prestashop folder and put them directly at the root (I did this in my ftp client). All the folders are now at the root and not in the prestashop folder. However, my shop still only works if I type /prestashop after the domain name. If I go to settings in backoffice and remove the /prestashop from the base URI, the backoffice stops working (white screen with list of links instead of proper backoffice interface).

 

If I go to my domain (cleo-garn.dk) I just see the logo from my webhost. No shop. What am I doing wrong? Should i have put the files in another folder instead of directly at the root?

 

Also, a bunch of php-files (like ajax_cart.php, index.php etc.) got moved around when I took them out of the prestashop folder, and now I am not sure if they should be in the admin folder or directly at the root. I think I have really confused myself...

I think the problem is with how you set up your domain. 

You should ask support of your hosting how to set up domain properly.
