[Solved] Can not send email? Why

version: prestaShop 1.0 final.

The function of 'Forgot your password?' does not send email.

When I use this function, the page show "Your password has been successfully reset and has been sent to your e-mail address: [email protected]", but [email protected] does not recieve this email.

And in contact page, there is the same problem.

Why???????

And I use SMTP method to send email.

But when I use [email protected] run at my local computer with outlook, it can send email . It is means that my eamil and SMTP information is noproblem.

Who can help me ? Thanks a lot!

Check, that Your SMTP server access connection from your webserver. Many hosting providers deny access to other SMTP servers, when it is not secured connections.

Thanks for reply, I can use outlook send email with SMTP method, so I think the smtp server is no problem. I want to know if there any other config, or modules need to install or config!

Give more information about Your servers.
SMTP server, webserver etc. Are both servers at same physical server or not?
Is this SMTP server your home ISP server?
PHP mail send works or not at PrestaShop.

Thanks for help, now the problem has been solved, I use php mial() method to send email.

But it will be very helpful, when You are giving information about SMTP. Maybe you find new bug at PrestaShop and then its right to let developers know about this problem, so that it can fix't.
