Display Different Phone Number In Navbar Depending On Customer Group?

Hey,

 

so I have a BlockContact hook in my nav and I want to modify the .tpl so that this happens: 

If not logged in OR logged in and belongs to group "A" -> Display phone number #1

If logged in and belongs to group "B" -> display phone number #2

 

I basically want the retailers/wholesalers to see a different phone number than my regular customers. 

I will input the phone numbers manually into the .tpl, but I need the code that pulls the login status and user group.

 

I only know HTML and CSS, I don't know how to write this kind of code... so any help will be much appreciated.
