problem installing at step 3

i get to step 3 and cant get any further, i've tried in both IE and firefox and still no luck, when i click next, nothing happens.

here is some txt from firefox error console

i've looked on this forum and cant find a solution any help would be greatful

What version of PS are you using, and what setup do you have locally?

I've got the same thing here.
Latest version just downloaded 1.2.5.0
I'm hosting this with my hosting provider (not a local install).
windows PHP 5.2.6
mysql 5.0.22

Database verify on step 3 is ok.

I can see the database structure has been created in mysql but no advance from step 3 and no error message.
I can't see anything in any tables..should there be at this stage?
Is there a log being generated somewhere so I can seen what the problem is?

Looks like a permissions thing, though I've checked all permissions to this dir and file and it should be good..hmm.

settings.inc.php seems to have been created/populated ok - I can see my config settings there.
Why am I still getting this error I wonder.

Since I'm running windows, I've given both IUSR_ and IWAM_ accounts full permissions to the config dir.
