PayPal Module/Prestashop 1.6.1.2

Has the PayPal module (1.39) been tested in 1.6.1.2.  I have had several issues with PayPal recently after upgrading.  You are now unable to credited/refund customers through the order.  The page just times out and gives a white screen.  I now have to manually credit the accounts.  Also, back-end order confirmation is hit or miss.  Some orders are confirming and others arent, i.e. not receiving an order when customer pays with PayPal, only payment.

I have an issue with capturing the total amount. 

My store currency is GBP, if a client pays in EUR the system only lets me capture its equivalent in our main currency GBP.

Example: An order of €100 EUR  prestashop will only let capture 70 EURO , if 100 euro is converted to GBP its 70 GBP

Please help.
