kerrywales
Hi, I have just set up an e-shop on Prestashop Cloud (they have given me 1.6.1.0) Sometimes we have to sell a "Registration" to an event. These events are, in the main, non-vatable (i.e. no tax). There is a "booking fee" which has to be vatable (standard UK tax of 20%). So assuming, to make the math easier) a ticket of £10 with a £1 booking fee, the customer will have to pay £11.20 and the invoice will have to reflect £10 Registration, £1 booking fee & £0.20 VAT. The question is for those who have done it already how they think the best way is. I am looking at Virtual Products but I have the requirement for combinations so I am already having to look at a module to give me this feature as I cannot make the mods to the source myself. I was wondering if this should be a Pack? (registration + booking fee products which are non-viewable by themselves?) Is it better to use the Rules mechanism? Any feedback welcome.
