Payment modules missing

i recently did and upgrade to 1.6.1.1  . i am pretty sure i checked payments after that and all was fine.

 

yesterday i found out that 2 out of 3  payment options are missing (paypal is fine).

 

braintree module https://www.bellini-services.com/shop/payment-modules/37-braintree-payment-module.html

bitpay module https://github.com/bitpay/prestashop-plugin

 

both modules are fine under modules/payments and gateways.  i reinstalled them without any issues. they both should support 1.6 .

 

but on Modules/Payment page they are both missing and not showing in active modules. still they are showing in restrictions section.

part of the problem lays within this file

 

const CACHE_FILE_TAB_MODULES_LIST = '/config/xml/tab_modules_list.xml';

 

this file is updated from prestashop site and it does not include my added payment modules. is it compatibility problem?

As the first image shows, they aren't just marked as Recommended payment gateways.

so how can i enable them? they should be valid modules

You have both the braintree as well as bitpay modules installed. I don't understand where the problem is.

looks like prestashop does not accept those modules for payments for some reason, as they are not on official modules page. could be some new policy.

there is another module for braintree on addons page, but then i have to buy again.

they are back! no idea what was going on there

it was Paypal Express Checkout removing other payment options
