cigarmalaysia
My website is first in the google rankings for the search terms that are important to us. I wish to switch from Prestashop because I find it clumsy and complicated. However, I will stay with it if necessary! My question is, if I switch from Prestashop to a different software, will I lose my Google ranking?

viste
It is possible to keep your rankings, depends how good you will prepare the on-page SEO of your new shop - page speed optimization, structured data, heading tags, meta tags, open graph tags and etc. Also good thing will be to create 301 redirects for the products, categories and information. Very good is also to add some improvements to the shop as a blog section where you will post a lot information about your products and etc. Google love changes especially if they are made right. El Patron
so you have PrestaShop and you have 1st in rankings... why would then consider a different CMS?
cigarmalaysia
I'm thinking maybe a redesign could be the way forward. Keep the existing shop and tweak bits here and there.
