Slow Front and Back Office when we change some parameters of Preferences>Products

Hello, we have a problem, when we change in Prestashop Back Office any parameter of: Preferences>Products. For exaple if we change the "number of days that a Product is considered new" them the Front and Back Office starts to run very slow (or for example if we change to "Mode Catalogue" or inverse). When it happens we replace the Data Base (to a previous version) and works well again. Looks like these Preferences are damaging de Data Base. And also de Data Base is heavier than the previous that works well. Do you know something about it?

Sounds really odd, it might just be that it's caching data. Did you try letting it run a bit with modified options?
