mrfraggle
Hi Forum, Is it really correct that you can not "save" a pricerange in the url, in order to only show that range of products in a productlist view? Eg. like this? myshop.com/allmyproducts?from=2&to=100 A many others ( I can see) using the one from the layeredenavigation filter does not work. selectshop.at
Yes you can't. Which purpose you want to have with this, and what's about price changed ? Than you have to correct the URL too.... If you see, this is not a good idea... Prestashop theme is ready for reach snippets, so the price of your products are read and manipulated already by google in another way.
mrfraggle
Well this for example: http://pipo.dk/166-se-alle This shows all our products. what I want is to show only the products in pricerange 0-100 - for instance? In the perfect world i would be able to generate an url (in seo&url settings) that "redirects" to the above - in order to not pissing google off ,-)
selectshop.at
Use the filteroption, i.e. activate and configure the module "layered navigation block". Here your customers can filter prices or something else what you put at disposal for to filter. PS: From what I can see you are already using this module. you should extend the filter options to prices. Take a look into the module configuration on your back-office, tab modules -> modules -> layered navigation. mrfraggle
Yea - i know that, and as you may see its already activated. However thats not the issue - the issue is I want the same kind of filter to be applied to an URL so when users approach that url the "filtering" is already done for them. One example could be a facebook campaign that says - all you can buy for 100 bucks - then I need an url where i display ONLY products up till 100 bucks. Moving products to different categories is not an option. But I havent been able to find neither a module that can do that, nor documentation about how to create such urls eg by using url parameters :-(
selectshop.at
BTW. from what I can see you shop is not a Prestashop Cloud hosted one, so I move your question to the correct forum section. Before you add your questions to the forum, please check if you are adding it to the right forum section. Questions added here are exclusively for doubts about Prestashop Cloud problems. mrfraggle
ahh sorry and thanks... didnt notice that :-(
selectshop.at
You can add them as own categories, like: products under 100 bucks, products under 200 bucks, and add to the category only the products related.
mrfraggle
yes but as i wrote: Moving(or adding) products to different categories is not an option. On this site we have around 4000 products, with new comming each day. In worst case we can do a sql function, but I would like a module to do this, as it also could be other parameters to make the "landingpages".
