Order by price sorts only per page??

Hi, I was wondering anyone else has encountered this problem.

In the product overview, when I select Order by Price (either ascending or descending),
the ordering works corrrect. But only on a per-page base, so the ordering works like this:

-- page 1 --
10.-
10,-
11,-
12,-
12,-
13,-
13,-
14,-
15,-
16,-

--page 2 --
10,-
11,-
14,-

Etc... This is not what I want, because when ordering on price I want the cheapest products on the first page.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

Anyone know of any existing solutions, or will I have to code a custom one?
