ccyre
Hey there, a potential client needs help with prestashop. He has a weekly or every 2 weeks spreadsheet that comes with merchandise prices. The items and pictures of items will stay the same, just prices adjust. Question is, is there a good way to import spreadsheet prices in to the webpage, overwriting existing prices? How about initial item input? Is it a 1 time manual entry for all items then once in, automate the price adjustments? Any noob tips would be appreciated too. Thanks so much in advance. RogueWaveLimited
Make a sheet with reference and price, then save as CSV and import setting columns appropriately. We have a service to update prices (and quantities) from your supplier inventory file. There is more info at our website below.
ccyre
I got csv import to work. Only issue now is how can I get it to mass upload images instead of going 1 by 1 in product list to import image per product? I have all the images with the csv file on my C drive. I am using download version 1.1.6.1 not cloud. So I go to website.com/admin123 login and I am able to do things there. Seems I cant do ftp.webpage.com or use smartFTP client to go to it either. On the web version I am not able to create ftp users just users. Edited November 15, 2015 by ccyre (see edit history)
RogueWaveLimited
Make a sheet with reference and image. And import.
ccyre
Would the reference be where you want it to go on webpage or where it is on c drive. Also how do you add the image to the Csv file.
ccyre
I figured it out. Created an FTP account, uploaded images to its home folder, added link in csv file to that directory for each product.
