NormanMa
Good evening, I was so happy that I finally got the store completely set up and now wanted to start adding products, but I see a massive problem here and I don't know what to do...: the tax looks like not being calculated It shows me the net price twice! Tax settings seem to be correct as it is displaying the gross price, online: So I gues all amounts I am entering are net ... Now, the biggest, massive issue is the invoicing and payment of order: As you can see, the net amount was charged in this test order! This order was placed with an UK address. I have set up German VAT to be used in Europe. Both UK and Germany are in the EU, so tax is due. I really don't know what to do ... Please help me check all necessary settings one by one. I really do not know how to continue.... it's so messed up :/ I would appreciate any help as I really don't know how to continue. I spent so many hours and days on the store and now that everything is done and I want to add products, I get in this massive trouble (( Edited November 10, 2015 by NormanMa (see edit history)
NormanMa
OMG I was able to solve this. It was a really stupid thing actually. Prestashop did put the UK in the non-EU countries zone and I was using UK as default country and first test order came through with uk too. I am so happy now. however, I suggest to generally check the default zones countries are set to because I downloaded the most recent prestashop and they did not put the following countries in the "Europe" zone: United Kingom, Croatia, San Marino. These 3 were located in "Europe Non EU". OK Croatia is now in the EU since a long time, but UK was one of the first countries in the EU that is why I did not even check that. stupid me.
