Many Questions, Need Them Answered

Recommended Posts

Hello, I am New to Prestashop and have installed it on my domain with my own web hosting.

Now It comes out alot of problems. Here are them,

1. Customers don't have the option to choose other country.

When registering an account with my shop, all I can see is United States and no other countries. While my business is mainly based on South East Asia, they cannot register to my service because of the lack of options for countries.

2. Not protected by secured socket layer (SSL)

The shop is not secured with HTTPS connection, I do not know why. Example, my main website which is running another script is website.com and its SSL secured which is https://website.com , For my prestashop installation, I installed it on website.com/shop but it is not showing any https on it. I installed prestashop through Softaculous and choose https installation but it still came out http. Need some help here to protect privacy.

3. How to add custom payment methods?

I would like to add custom payment methods for my prestashop because bank transfer, paypal and all those existing ones arent my sort. I would like to add my own, like "Contact Company to make payment" or "Western Union" or something like that.

4. I would like to add chat widgets below my prestashop page.

Currently the chat widget I am using is tawk.to which works perfectly on my Wordpress but I have no idea where to put the embed code in it.

5. Facebook links keeps showing "Powered by Prestashop"

How do i actually remove this thing as it is very annoying......

6. Another powered by PrestaShop  comes out in the mail

What i see below every mail i receive from my shop is ThisShop powered by PrestaShop™ which I clearly do not like. How do i remove this thing?

Thats all for now, I am sorry this is alot but if someone is kind enough to help me in this situation, i would be glad.

Thank You.
