bellini13
I have not encountered this error before, and likely others have not either. You're better off reporting to the issue to the Prestashop Forge and perhaps the PS developers can assist you
Pepijn
Hello everybody! I just installed a fresh clean installation of prestashop 1.6.1.1 (provided by my server Strato) First thing to do is update to the new version. This are the last items before the error. I'll find a solution, just to let u know there's something maybe wrong. Ciao Pepijn! 6 modules left to upgrade. 2 modules left to upgrade. Addons modules files have been upgraded. The database has been cleaned. [Ajax / Server Error for action upgradeComplete] textStatus: "error " errorThrown:" " jqXHR: " " The 1-click upgrade just stops..? bellini13
Why not just download the latest version of Prestashop from this website directly and install it.
Pepijn
Hi Bellini, I normally do, this was a new thing from my hosting provider, it's 100 times faster than the manual installation, (the FTP takes a long time), but i missed the that it was version 1.6.1.1. Did an other update; from 1.6.1.2 to 1.6.1.3 (not official yet) to test the 1-click auto upgrade. Got the same error. After the error, the prestashop update seems to be successful. bellini13
@mdekker, why ignore the previous post. user submitted forge report about a month ago with zero response from dev. if we ask users to submit reports to the forge, then we need people to actually look at these things.

bellini13
i don't imagine you are going to get any better support from them or their community, and I highly doubt that anyone from PS is going to care if you change platforms
