Show category block in its subcategory

Hi,

 

I'm looking for a solution in Presta 1.6 to keep showing the category block and its list of subcategories in the left column when we are within one of the subcategories.

 

At the moment, or we can show all the categories or only the subcategories of a current category.

 

Ex: I have:

 

Cat 1

  Subcat 1

  Subcat 2

  Subcat 3

 

Cat 2

  Subcat 1

  Subcat 2

  Subcat 3

 

If I am in Cat 1 or one of its subcategory, I always want to show only:

 

Cat 1

  Subcat 1

  Subcat 2

  Subcat 3

 

 

If I am in Cat 2 or one of its subcategory, I always want to show only:

 

Cat 2

  Subcat 1

  Subcat 2

  Subcat 3
