Where do I edit Store Information?

Hi folks,

 

Newbie to Prestashop, been using another cart for over a decade, but looking to see what else is out there and Prestashop seemed pretty cool.

 

However after installing it, and looking over a couple of tutorials I can't find in Admin where you can change the Store information ,phone numbers etc. I swear I've been through every menu but obviously I've missed it somewhere.

 

Can anyone help?

Hi and welcome to the forum.

 

Depends what you want to change, if it is in footer of front office then find module Contact information block

in back office > modules and fill info. Also there is general information that you can change in Preferences 

> Store details in Contact details.

maybe if you want to edit a theme or just some data check this free module

Thanks for your reply. I located the Contact Info block and changed the phone number and email address (why is hidden like this :-)) but it didn't change the front office, it still shows the demo information see screenshot.

 

 

I'm running 1.6.1.2

 

Also my preferences menu in back office doesn't have Contact details (again see attachments)

 

 

I installed this through Softaculous on my server, perhaps I'm better off staring over and downloading the install from here, what do you think?
