pedepot
Hello Anusingh123, That’s a recurrent question. FTP Upload all your pictures to your host first, then make the association between your product items and the relevant images in your CSV file. You can now proceed to the standard CSV import. Prestashop will automatically copy all your pictures to the right location. Find out more at http://doc.prestashop.com/display/PS16/CSV+Import+Parameters I hope it helps! susieb
Hi - Can you talk me through it step by step ( am novice) So far - I have uploaded all the images to a new folder I made in cpanel file manager. It is under HTMl_public and I have made a folder and put the jpgs in there. I have put together the csv file which uploads but I am really struggling to find how to make the csv file have the right URL for the image. So.. Are my images in the right place in cpanel? How do I put the right url into the csv files so I can do a bulk upload in Prestashop? Thanks in advance. Susie
prestatent
Hi Below example from a pipe ( | ) separated combinations file. As long as the path in the image url in your file matches what you have on your server. So in the example, the path to your images is: http://www.mysite.com/import/img Put all your files in there and try 658|Color:color:1|Nutmeg:1||REFERENCE||||||0|1||1|1|http://www.mysite.com/import/img/image-1.jpg|0| Doing it this way will work. This is also true for products and I would imagine, every other csv import file.
