image inserting error: ALERT - function within blacklist called: exec()

When I try to set images to a product I have no results.
Hosting logs write me next error

[MY_IP:2411-0#APVH_MY_Domain.com] [sTDERR] ALERT - function within blacklist called: exec() (attacker 'MY_IP', file '.../public_html/images.inc.php', line 80)

and hoster answer was

As your account is hosted on shared environment, we can not allow the function exec() as it is highly dangerous and anyone can bypass his commands on the server. You need to use some other option to insert your images.

is there any way to fix this?
