Ready to go - just a couple of things I need help with.

Loving the latest incarnation of Prestashop - thank you.

 

Need a couple of things changing if possible ?

 

In the Top Menu - the "HOME" link says "ROOT" - reason I have used this link is that I prefer the menu drop down to the flyout which some people find troubling. Can I change the menu link to say "HOME" instead of "ROOT" ?

 

And the only other small thing is the category menu on the left handside of the home page. I also want it to show on Category pages like this:

What do I need to change to make this happen ?

I'm not sure about this one but as nobody has replied yet:

- blocktopmenu module can be configured to use home in stead of root (please check, I do not use this menu myself so I'm guessing)

- the menu can be restyled, direct children of root will be bold and not have the caret on the side.

Can anyone help me with the category module block not appearing in category or product pages ?

Hi

 

A few questions:

 

1. Is the category module installed and enabled?

 

2. Is it hooked into the correct place? eg. Modules->Positions. It should be hooked into displayLeftColumn hook.

 

3. If not hooked in, click on "Transplant a module" button at top of the "Positions" page and select the "Categories Block" module and "Hook Into" the "displayLeftColumn".

 

That should be you ready to go.
