TACS
Hello, I have recently attempted to clone my site and have encountered an issue whereby the admin theme seems to be of an older version and the Tabs are non existent. Im not sure if there is a misconfiguration somewhere and I hoped someone from the community might be able to help solve the issue. Here are the steps i took Backed up Live sites files, created a new Dir and uploaded backed up files to the new Dir. Exported live sites DB, Created a new DB and imported previously exported DB Changed PS_SHOP url to match the new domain & updated setting.inc.php to match that of the new DB. attached is a screenshot of what i see when i log in to the BO
El Patron
try this: delete the .htaccess for cloned shop. You can regenerate it from performance tab, for example turning friendly url's on and off or vice versa.

El Patron
hey it would be in the root or root of folder you have installed PrestaShop. note: .htaccess has permission of 664. Make sure that your ftp settings display 'hidden files'.
TACS
Hey El patron, Thanks again for chipping in with some suggestions. Ive actually discovered that it was just plain simple human error a few months ago i did an upgrade from 1.4 to 1.6, i had a backup of my old directory installed which i needed to go back to as my images went missing in the upgrade. anyway, its of those files I cloned, so basically, i need to delete them, start again and reclone my new site and then it all should hopefully be working. it must only be partially working because of the core changes between 1.4 and 1.6 when I get around to doing it, il update this post with whether the issue was solved or not
