Auto "pack of two" creation module

Hi,

 

We're professional audio distributor and are offering a lot of products that people tend to buy in pairs (speakers, dj decks etc)

 

We are after a module that will help us speed up the bundles creation.

 

The way I see it working:

 

The module will allow us to select a category in our shop and will return a list of all products from this category in a table form.

Columns:

1 - tick box

2 - product name

3 - product price (inc tax)

4 - pair price (inc tax) - that will be a textfield pre-filled with productPrice*2-x% where x is the amount of default discount for pair set in module settings

 

we will be able to use the tick boxes next to products to select which products from a category we would like to create bundles from.

Once selected the module will allow us to press a button "Create bundles"

 

The module will now create product packs with following information:

productName = <original product name> "(Pair)"

reference = newly generated pack productID

price = taken from textfield (column 4) price - tax

wholesalePrice = 2 x original wholesalePrice

weight = 2 x original weight

friendlyURL = originalShortURL-pair

image = leave empty

ALL OTHER FIELDS THE SAME AS ORIGINAL PRODUCT (ean13, supplier reference, short description, description, brand, supplier, category etc)
