Update problem: products display quantity ' - ' but in DB the quantity is correctly visible.

Good morning, 

I did the update from 1.5.6.2 to 1.6.1.1 version and I followed all the needed steps from one versione to the following one.
 

Now half of the products on sale display the character ' - ' instead of the quantity in BO

The same products do have their correct quantity displayed in DB (10, 5, 1, 0 or 20 etc) but in BO only the symbol ' - ' is visible and inside the product sheet I have quantity 0 (whereas in DB the quantity is correct, for ex. 1)
 

I noticed that this problem affects only the oldest products, which have been listed in the panel first (probably imported by an older version???)
 

How can I solve this problem in order to viasualize the quantity of my products correctly?

I have the same exact problem and if I go in Product > Quantity and change the "When out of stock" option to "Default" it just fix itself.

 

The problem is that I never change the "When out of stock" option so I don't even know why it's like this.

 

Also: I don't know how to do this in a batch way for multiple products.
