Move Customization form

What I would like to do is move the customization form to the buyblock.  I'd like to add it right above the add to cart button.

I guess a better way of saying it is I want to move customization form from short.description.block to the buy.block (right column)

i was thinking I could use the transplant module but I'm not sure exactly what the customization form is called

I just figured out that if there is nothing written in the "short description" for an item, the customization form will NOT show up.  Another reason why I need to move this form.

You can try finding all the code your theme product.tpl found between,

Move it above {$HOOK_PRODUCT_FOOTER} see if that helps. Make backups.

I moved it below buyblock, which works.  I found out now that it seems if there is no customization, the form still shows up but without input fields.  Is there an if/than that I am missing?

It should work the same if you have all code between those tags. Does this behavior change if you place the code back? This is where backup copy's are great.

Before, it was in short description.  Now it is inside box cart right below <!-- attributes -->

 

If no custom attribute was given to a product, it would not show up before.  Now, it shows without custom attributes, just without input lines
