El Patron
you can look at back office-->customers-->groups but there is not a way in native PrestaShop to hide product by group, you can hide price for example for non-registered and disable some modules via the group...there are some old posts on this subject but I don't know one in particular that will do this.
FerreireX
Do you have or know any module to hide some product for selected group?
El Patron
I found a few things you can research more: http://www.prestatraining.com/display-categories-products-specific-groups/ http://www.presto-changeo.com/en/prestashop-modules/30-private-shop.html here is my search link: https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=prestashop%20module%20hide%20product%20group I would also consider searching in French and Spanish to see if someone came up with solution outside of English forum. cille5
You can edit categories wich to show prodcuts inside of it. Catalog/categories/... Edit category/ -edit wich customer groups you want to see categorie. I have't test it but I think it works like this. Rico_001
I have also a question related to this subject (Products & Users). I have set up several customer groups and I want to link them each on their specific price category. But the problem is that default in products you only have 1 price category. You can create a special price depending on that 1 category price with a % or amount, but i want to have the ability to add a specific price for each product for each customer category. (For all products in every category) Customer Pro Cat A : Product X Price = 152 Euro Customer Cat B : Product X Price = 174 Euro Customer Cat C : Product X Price = 183 Euro Your input is highly appreciated. Thankx Rico
FerreireX
You can introduce the specific price in each product for each customer or customer group. If you are inside the product, go to Prices, drop down and go SPECIFIC PRICES and add a rule you prefer for specific customer or group of customer.
Rico_001
Thank you for the answer FerreireX, but I do not want to add a specific price with a rule. I want to have the ability to fill inn an amount instead of using a % of the base price or diminue the base price with an amount. I don't think this is possible (I was using PS 1.6.1.1). I will look again if I have missed something.
FerreireX
One think i forget to tell you, you can create a group of costumer and all costumers inside that group have a discount of % you want.
