Loading module images directly from an external url

Hello everybody,

I would like to load some of the heaviest media of my website directly from the cnd webstorage. I cannot use the native media server because of the SSL problem, so I thought that loading at least the slides for the homepage slider will help the server to shorten its response. But I need to override the slider module and I don't know how to implement my webstorage server link.
