Prestashop Sending Emails (Offers/Newsletter) to our Employees

Greetings of the day to everyone.

 

Prestashop is sending emails (News/Offers) to the email addresses of our employees without our intention. E.g, I have an employee with ([email protected]) email ID. He is receiving newsletter emails from prestashop.com ([email protected]). I need your support to figure out the issue and its solution. I really want to stop these emails.

 

Your earlier response will be very supportive for me.

I believe, this should only happen if they have added themselves to the newsletter, maybe by connecting the store and their accounts to the addons store. But I suppose, Prestashop could give here more exact info of the reason behind this. 

 

I have yet to see this for one of my customers, but they also don't do this connection afaik, at least on the stores I manage fully.

Ah, one more: When installing a store, there exists the option to subscribe to their newsletter with the email choicen for installation. Make sure you uncheck it there or just unsubscribe later from the emails.

If you at least once wrote to support or wherever related to Prestashop you start getting these emails. At least this is a way it happened to me. I really did not register or subscribe but just started getting them one day. To be fair I do not mind.
