Adding footer and maytext box?

I"m pretty new to trying to configure. I got my shop like this (see link below), but now I'd like a footer with links like contact, etc in it, and maybe a text info block higher on the page, how do I do that?

use the cms block. you can configure the links in the module

Sorry, can I ask a few questions..

I have a custom block higher on the page, can I somehow add another? If I open the custom CMS, it just adds more to that center block, it's not a seperate block that I can move and leave the other still in the higher middle area?  If so, not sure how, or how to have it as a footer?

for images, you can use the free html block, that let you pùt free content in any place

 

for the cart, go to modules, positions, and remove from top, and transplant to right column
