blockbestsellers and blockspecials not working in displayHome hook

Hi there,

 

I hooked this two modules to the displayHome hook, but I got the alert message for both modules, that "You have no products  .... ". Whe they are hooked to the displayHomeTab and displayHomeTabContent they are working just fine.

 

For {$best_sellers|var_dump} i got NULL.

 

What am I doing wrong ?
