hurray
Hi, I have 3 websites in french. Savdana.com, prestashop 1.5.6.2 using Paypal module 3.10.2Ametibetaine.com, prestashop 1.3.1.1 using PaypalAPI v1.0 boutiquetibetaine.fr, prestashop 1.4.7.3 using Paypal 3.8.1 When a customer checkouts and decides to pay by PayPal, he is directed to Paypal's home page rather than to paypal payment page. The guys from Paypal said it is an issue with redirect and is related to the module and prestashop. They did not offer more help. Secondly, this happens very randomly. May be once every 4 checkouts. And sometimes during tests, I land on paypal's payment page then I click on rerutn to merchat's site. This takes me back inside website's cart. Then when I choose Paypal again as payment, I get to paypal's homepage. So I need someone to help me fix this problem. Thanks. BoKr
Now 43 views and one person more with the same urgent issue. Buying in Prestashhop via PayPal send customers to PayPal's homepage....
hurray
Prestashop forum is getting ridiculous. Seems like prestashop board members are more interested in selling their add-ons and modules than helping prestashop users. It's been freaking two weeks with this problem and no one seems to be willing to help.
takide
Do you still need help with this? I have done my fair share of debugging the Paypal module. If it is the Paypal USA/ Canada version then I could definitely help.
hurray
Hi, I finally solved the problem. The problem was with server's DNS. So I called my host provider and ask them to clear the DNS cache. In short, you will have to contact your hosting company to solve this issue. Thanks takid for your offer to help. I have an error message "no payment module installed". It's not true, Paypal is installed and setup... Any idea of what could be wrong ?
