Add cover image and subcategory icon image seperately

Hi,

 

I am was using the old prestashop version 1.3 and there was no place to upload the cover photo and the photo which appears on the subcategory icon. I then switched to the version 1.6 but same is the case here also. Only 1 image can be uploaded which is cover pic

 

I can add one more element on the admin page to add both the images but this would be changing the core Prestashop files which I thing one should not do.

 

Any solutions for this?

This image will is only perfect for cover page like this
