One zip multiple modules

I want to ask question about module development (not sure if this is the right category):

 

Is it possible to sell module on addons.prestashop which has another module inside it? It means that module will consists of one major module and one (or multiple) secondary modules. Secondary modules are dependent on

primary module and can not work without primary module but those secondary module(s) have functionality which extends the primary module.

 

Has any developer similar experience? Please share your thoughts on this idea.

I don't believe this would work since it would not pass the validator rules.

 

One thought would be to package the secondary modules under a sub-folder, and then provide instructions for the merchant to copy those secondary modules to the modules folder and install them.  however I really do not believe PS addons would approve this
