Change text orderconfirmation

I wanted to change the text in orderconfirmation for the client.
I changed in order_conf.txt but nothing happens. There is also
a file order_conf.html which I cannot change and therefor I
guess the problem is not solved as I should like.
What am I doing wrong or what else should I do to definitely
make text change in outgoing email??

Those are the right files you are supposed to edit. Are you sure you are editing the right language? There is mails/en/order_conf.html and mails/fr/order_conf.html. Why can't you change order_conf.html?

Thank you for answering my question. I am editing the dutch language mails/nl/order_conf.txt. I do not know how to
edit a html file. That's my problem.....
