AskMeTooFast
Hello Due to many issues that i some how clicked something wrong and messed up things I decided to start over. So I deleted all the old and did a new install and start back at the begining. So when i go to my subdomain that i have the prestashop on it shows up perfect. But when I click on the new "Admin URL" the page shows up totally blank. no errors no messages. nothing. so i can't even get into the Dashboard to start building the site. If it helps I installed from my Arvixe Cpannel> and got over to the PrestaShop Intall area and filled out every thing over there. I even went into the advance to enable the back ups and every thing. I have refreshed the page a billion times. I went to my email and clicked the Admin URL from the information emailed to me there and that didn't work either. What am i missing? or What should I do or Check? Thank You in advance for any help you can give me
El Patron
Hi, when we receive blank page we should then turn on PS debug mode to get underlying error. Then its possible to debug. https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/224525-how-to-turn-on-error-reporting-for-debug-information-blank-page-500-internal-server-error/
AskMeTooFast
Awesome Good to know. Thank You So much. I knwo i use to get errors so something i did or maybe it is me being on a new laptop that caused me not to get any errors at first I contacted my Arvixe and they did that and we got this error https://gyazo.com/3860a3db6fefa3b476266108d35bf434 But this is what i got. I don't know anything this advanced. I think they are going to help me fix it but i would love to knwo how to fix it. I'm on the Cloud version of Presta shop i think I didn't download anything to my computer. It would be great if i could fix it my self if it happens again in the future. AskMeTooFast
Sorry I dont' thinki i knwo what this means? So does this mean that the instal of the presta shop didn't install or go on the website right? The front office looks fine. www.shop.askmettofast.com it is the back office that i can't get into
El Patron
for me it looks like that the AdminController.php did not upload the entire file. So there is missing code resulting in the error you posted. I would re-upload this file.
AskMeTooFast
ok So this is what I did cause there has been so much of my time waisted of not just what i had avlible but then even more so. I went and de a full site back up then deleted the presta shop off of www.shop.askmetoofast.com Then I went and removed My subdomain www.shop.askmetoofast.com and then I recreated it. and then I recreated it. AskMeTooFast
AdmingController.php is 'cut off', i.e. the transfer did not work properly. re-upload you old file to new server. Sorry El Patron, I been so stressed that I some how missed this messeage before making another post. Ok so does this mean (A.) upload the PrestaShop File to a a New Server ~ or ~ (B.) have them upload My whole Website to a New Server. [* My Host is having some Major Server issues so a new server might not be a good idea at this time] I'm sorry I am still learning. But this sure has been educational. And Way stressing to say it lightly for me it looks like that the AdminController.php did not upload the entire file. So there is missing code resulting in the error you posted. I would re-upload this file. ok so the AdminController.php file didn't upload fully. Ok I didn't do the Upload. Since I was having so many issues I was offered to have them (My Web hoster) to upload me a working PrestaShop. Well that didn't work either. ok So here is where I am at now. I asked them about being hacked after another post i made on here. Thank You for this advice. Well they said they accessed my Admin URL and it is showing blank page. grrrrr o.k. yes I was told on my ticket email they sent me. They confirmed the issue with thier supervisor and the issue is the scripts that I am using. O.k. I will be nice and not say what im thinking. Beacause maybe I confussed them since I dont know what I doing in majority of this but I do knwo a bit. Im like I told them. ok. So this is My Plan of action to hopefully get this resolved some time this centry. If I'm leaving out any thing please let me know. O.k. Im goign to Gather all of the Tickets numbers and add them at the end of the contact with them. I'm going to ask for the Mall Ware scan of the server and ask that maybe I should be moved to a new server. [* which can't happen because of major server issues, will have to get a new host] Inform them [i knwo things are crazy so i will be nice] that someone on their end ( I wil find the name in the email for them) is the one that installed it for me since there were so many issues and I couldnt' get it to work right. That I was told they could do it for me and make sure it was a working instal. Which it didn't work and I got the T_Procted message after enableing the errors for the white page. I don't know what a script is in the Website arena totally after Googleing it but will look into it more. But I know what Scripts in the Virtual World Second Life do. So I figure it is something like that. They make prims do things. So im thinking they make the sites do things or something to do something. I totally wish right abotu now I knew more of LSL I know a little and learned a little about config notecards which has totally helped in this getting my site up. Who would have known, ok Thank You El Patron and if anyone sees any thing i'm leaving out please let me know. Thank you Edited October 14, 2015 by AskMeTooFast (see edit history)
El Patron
DO THIS: (A.) upload the PrestaShop File to a a New Server then if possible provide one sentence status as I am older moderator and my attention span is limited. At the end of the day, unless you are a least a part-time webmaster consider job offers, probably this could be solved quickly (and other things in the future) for very small sum compared to your time spent. Try to build relationship with someone locally or otherwise than can help take care of nicky issues so you can sell products. I do not do everything myself anymore either. Happy day, el
