MeowsTheTime
When I upgraded to 1.6.1.0....I got all "?"...as my images. I found the pictures labeled as example: 104-home-mseKRKziqp.jpg I had to go in and change the" -mseKRKziqp.jpg" part to " _default.jpg" and the pictures showed up. It was a lot of work. Wasn't sure of another way to do it. If I add a new product, I still have to go in my cPanel, find it and rename. I am doing something wrong but have no clue. Currently changing the name is okay but it's a little (ha) time consuming.
musicmaster
It sounds like you switched themes: that you used a custom theme in the old version and the system theme in the new one. In the backoffice under settings->images you can specify which images will be made when you add a product. It sounds you you need to make some changes there. MeowsTheTime
I used the bootstrap themes. I upgrade from like 1.4 to 1.6....and had loads of issues with the images. I had to find and re-name every image. It would be nice to upload one and NOT have to rename though. But I guess it's whatever works.
musicmaster
You didn't need to rename them. You could have used the regenerate function that should generate them on the right formats.
MeowsTheTime
I have to go in find, and re-name the images when I add a new product. I'm scared to death to touch the "regenerate" button.....I would hate to have to go back and re-do....all that I already had to re-do....ha
