OEM+ Performance
Installed a clean install of Prestashop 1.6.1.1. Having problems with the translations. Added Portuguese "pt" language pack. Tried the automatic translator pack from prestashop, as well as manual upload. In both methods I get the " The translations have been successfully added." message when done. Although the translations continue to be at 0% and none are translated / updated with the new translations that were suposingly uploaded. I strictly followed the prestashop directions step by step and searched google but no one seems to have the same problem as me. I believe it's theme related. Permissions to Translations folder is 755. Tried in a different computer, same situation. I am able to modify the translations 1 by 1 and it will save ok, but this is not what I want as it is time consuming, especially knowing that it has been done by others and available for free download. I checked the translations folder contents. I do have the "pt" folder installed. Checked inside, all files expected are there and when opened have the complete portuguese translations. Why aren't the translations being updated? Very strange...
NemoPS
Have you tried deleting the language, then import again? Make sure you select to download imported files when you do. As for the theme, if you use a custom one and it has custom strings, I think you need to translate it yourself
