category images are not responsive

Recommended Posts

Hi there

I hope someone can help.

I have just put together a site for a friend using the default-bootstrap theme in version 1.6.0.9 and we decided to change the category image size (content_scene_cat_bg)  from 870 x 217px to 800 x 500 px as we found the default size extremely limiting.

However these images are no longer responsive when viewed on mobile devices.

i am a bit of a newbie to Prestashop but have been playing around with the CSS however i have not managed to find a satisfactory solution

also

when accessing the site on a mobile device the drop down category menu does not work and i'm now wondering if these 2 things are somehow related?

Here is a link to one of the categories if anyone would like to take a look: http://c6968672.myzen.co.uk/testshop/25-luxury

*PLEASE BE WARNED THIS SITE IS AN ADULT STORE*

Thank you

Sorry, but you added your topic to the wrong Forum section. The section here is only for problems WITH the Forum/Board software and NOT FOR PRESTASHOP Software problems.

Please try again here: https://www.prestashop.com/forums/forum/104-configuring-using-prestashop/

i.e. I will ask a modersator to move your topic to the correct forum section, but if this not happens in the next days, please add your topic to the section I've linked.

Cannot figure out what you did. Perhpas some wrong code in css.

The size of the images is for max. If you change the size to more the picture would be expanded on non mobile devices, but on mobile device they remain untouched. mobile template is integrated in normal template, but mobile theme has an own css file /themes/default bootstrap/mobile.

From what I can see also your banner is not responsive. I think the problem is on the changes you've made on css files. You should revert to original files. And for test purposes try also to revert to original picture size after reverting to original files.
