Brent Roberts
Hi guys I have found that I can edit colours in my theme by going to public_html/modules/themeconfigurator/css/theme9 but the problem I am having is knowing which piece of code relates to what section. I am wanting to change background colour, header background and text colour, top menu background and text colour, footer background and text colour. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Brent www.tuffcountry.com.au
Denver Prophit Jr.
If you have experience with CSS, your theme has a /css folder. Turn off in advanced parameters >> performance: html combine and css combine. Next use a browser inspector to match up which css file controls your color. Create a backup of that file and edit the color. Brent Roberts
sorry, no experience in css. You've pretty much lost me with that post. Is there an easier way to change colours?
Denver Prophit Jr.
Not for all of that. No easy way if you don't know CSS. We provide labor discounts for hosted clients. Looks like less than 20 minutes worth of work to me. Do you have a design guide prepared?

Denver Prophit Jr.
You can review http://doc.prestashop.com/display/PS15/Designer+Guide then and take a course or two on html and CSS3 and learn. That would definitely save money. But, more time you must invest.
Denver Prophit Jr.
Very sorry I could not be more useful. Trying to explain code is like asking a history teacher to perform open heart surgery heh.

Vinum
Hi, If you use the default bootstrap theme for prestashop > 1.6, there is that module: http://addons.prestashop.com/en/front-office-features-prestashop-modules/17952-advanced-theme-configurator-theme-maker.html Best regards,

Brent Roberts
Ok, I've worked out most of the code but there are 2 that still have me stumped: I've changed the top menu colour backround to dark grey and the text to orange, but can't work out where to change the hover background, it is currently orange but I would like to change it to a lighter shade of grey. I have changed the footer background to orange but the text is now conflicking with the orange, how do I change the text colour and the shadow that is on that text Cheers Brent www.tuffcountry.com.au
