When choosing variations: the page "jumps" back til default

I have a prestashop where I sell house numbers in various sizes and colors.

Now I have (after updating) encountered the problem when the customer has chosen a variation,

it will "jump" page back to the standard product after a few seconds.

I suspect this is due to some sort of automatic update; but what can I do to solve the problem?

 Update: Found the "cure" on prestashop forum:

 

go to preferences>products

change the separator of attribute anchor on the product links to the opposite setting of what you have... for me it was dash, so i changed it to comma, test front end, no success.  Set back to dash, test front end, fixed.

 

It worked!
