Upgrade from 1.5.6.2 to 1.6.1.1

Hi braintrust -

 

I want to upgrade from 1.5.6.2 to 1.6.1.1.

Is there a change in the database structure between those two versions?

 

I want to know if I can restore my 1.5.6.2 database on my new 1.6.1.1 site? If that's the case, that would make things easy.

Yes, there are changes to the database in almost every minor version of Prestashop.  There is no need to restore a database, just use the autoupgrade module, or follow the manual upgrade steps in their documentation (under the learn menu).

 

Before you upgrade your live store, always make a test copy of the store and test the upgrade process...
