nesoor
Hey Prestashop members, I wanted to test Prestashop so I downloaded the zip file and uploaded the files to my root webhosting server. I get immediately this error: "Internal Server Error" Did I forget anything?
NemoPS
Apparently not. Odd! Are you accessing the correct folder? I'd ask your hosting to check if your access level is ok
nesoor
Apparently not. Odd! Are you accessing the correct folder? I'd ask your hosting to check if your access level is ok Hello, Thanks for your reply! I unpacked the files and uploaded the files with Filezilla instead of the zip file itself. It does work but I cannot access the link with /admin only with /admin658qcvdps How can I fix this?
NemoPS
What do you mean by I can't access? Error code?
nesoor
What do you mean by I can't access? Error code? Hey, At first I couldn't get Prestashop to work I got this error when I accessed the page "Internal Server Error" but it works now! I just ran into another problem. I cannot access my admin page with /admin but just with /admin658qcvdps Thanks for the support!

Simonas Invertus
I cannot access my admin page with /admin but just with /admin658qcvdps For security reasons Prestashop always renames admin folder to some random name in your case it is 'admin658qcvdps' It is the way Prestashop works. If you will do another installation you will get another random name. If you do not like it, you can rename it whatever you like.
