PhilCorleone
Can you checkout the php logs or Apache logs? what does it say? In addition, how much ram space are you dedicating for php? Open up php.ini and search for (ctrl+w) memory_limit, what is it?
patrmich
I finally found a way to solve the matter (non-opening of two tabs Administration > Permissions and Modules > Positions). I searched whether a module could be responsible for this malfunctioning. So, I checked the Configure button of each activated module. And for one of them, themeinstallator module , the click on either Configure or Disable or Uninstall or Update button led to a blank page. Therefore, I deleted the themeinstallator module from the server. And after this deletion, both Administration > Permissions and Modules > Positions tabs work properly. The themeinstallator module on my shop was version 2.8. As far as I remember I never used this module and was surprised to realize that this module could cause tabs malfunctioning.
