Always the shop name will be shown at first and than the Meta title (see screenshot below), it's just valit for the homepage, all other pages will be shown in a right way, just the Meta title:Google: see file "google-view.png"Prestashop -index file: see file "Prestashop-view.png"Do you have an idea??? Thanks, Frank Edited September 25, 2015 by Balomy (see edit history)
selectshop.at
Editted. Sorry my bad. I found the URL. Your shop was online once with another software ? I cannot see any of the Metas with this data. See here taken of your page: <title>e-Zigaretten Shop - e-Zigaretten, Liquids und mehr! - better-Smoke.de</title> <title>VISION Spinner II - 1.650 mAh - Twist Akku| e-Zigarette-Akku</title> For me it is a real strange thing. Did you already tried to ask on Google Webmaster Forum ? I cannot explain why, or from where this is comming. There is no obvious note for the composition of this Title in your shop visible. selectshop.at
I got it from the screen he attached: www.better-smoke.de. But seems that the page had an index page before he added the shop and this index page was indexed by google with the old metas. In new shop there is no hint nowhere to the meta he is telling. Denver Prophit Jr.
I would go to google webmaster tools / Google Search Console and request that file be removed. I would also Redirect gone filename.ext that isn't apart of PrestaShop to force remove it or Redirect 310 to index.php
selectshop.at
Yeah, in this case Google Webmaster should be the best way to correct this one meta (which is the index page).
