eltigredo
I've been having this problem ever since the last upgrade to 1.6.1.1 a few weeks ago. Clients load the cart, complete checkout, paypal accepts their payment, but the order is never completed in our store. This is not happening every time, only spuratically. Today someone placed an order and got an empty cart error message. So he immediately repeated the order. Paypal charged him both times, but the first order is empty (no products listed in BO), the second order was a normal, complete order. In the error log, I am getting a lot of these: Frontcontroller::init - Cart cannot be loaded or an order has already been placed using this cart We are using the default theme. Any help on this issue would be greatly apprecaited. Thank you, Eddie Lewis

steviep
Same here, had a customer who purchased an item using "Guest" checkout via a mobile device. PayPal charged her, in my BO it shows her guest account details, but no orders from her. I'm trying to reproduce in a sandbox version of my site with PayPal Sandbox but so far it's working fine. weird. I'm testing with 1.6.0.14. eltigredo
This is still happening and I have no idea what to do about it. I've tried different settings and configurations and nothing seems to fix the problem. If anyone has any ideas, I would love to hear them!!! I'm beginning to think that going with Prestashop was a mistake. Edited October 2, 2015 by eltigredo (see edit history)

Polystore
Same problem here When an order is placed and payment is taken the order confirmation via email and back office shows no product information in the order. All pricing, shipping and taxes are shown but there are no product details. The customer order confirmation (HTML) DOES show the product information and seems to be working fine but the PDF generated invoice does not show any product information at all. This happens with many payment modules (not just realex, paypal or cod) Can't believe prestashop hasn't responded at all. This is the last time i gonna update..... I get so many customers complaints OMG
eltigredo
I continue having trouble with this. After talking to the customers it has happened to, it appears that there is a problem happening when Paypal sends the customer back to the store website. I don't know if the page is timing out or what, but the people who were charged but did not complete their orders all said that they never made it back to the store's website. This raises a lot of questions to me about how the module is designed. I originally decided to go with Prestashop because I was writing my own eCommerce platform and realized I could never have something that works as well as an open source platform where lots of people are contributing. And it was specifically the Paypal integration that convinced me to go with Prestashop. What I had designed would have worked, but I knew already then that there were too many ways it could screw up. I haven't looked at the code for this module, but it irks me that these problems we are having are precisely the same problems I anticipated in my own, amateur coding. Very aggravating. eltigredo
Polystore, I don't understand what that has to do with the paypal module. Can you please elaborate one what you wrote?
Polystore
De promblem is not the module. its the cart. So make a new product and then go to the tabel stock_availble and then compare new with old product and u will see that the new product has other values, so change the old products.
