Sub-Categories

Hi everyone...

 

I hope someone can be so kind to help me out with a little problem..

 

I want to remove the sub-categories from the product page, and still keep the categories images in the header with each of catetories..

 

I am using 1.6.1.1.

As I understand it, you want to hide the subcategories from your category pages.

 

That can be done by editing the category.tpl file of your template. You should outcomment (with {* and *}) or delete the part that starts with 

		{if isset($subcategories)}

or just replace it with {if false}

I assume that you know at least something about programming and that you removed not just that line but the whole {if} statement of some 15-20 lines. And did you also try my second suggestion (if false) and did you empty the cache?
