Configure PrestaShop in a sub-directory and remove sub-directory from urls

I want to keep PrestaShop in a sub directory to keep it tidy,

So what's the best way to configure it so that the sub directory doesn't appear in URLs?

This is easily done from the control panel of your host, In my case this is under Domain Central, then click on the domain and choose Pointers.

Now select subdirectory from the drop down, then enter the name of the sub directory and save.
