Adding an attribute for some reason displays wrong price

Recommended Posts

I have a product set at $1711. When I add an attribute to the product, the price changes on the product page to $2600.72. The attribute is set to not affect pricing. In fact if I add the product to the cart the correct price (1711) shows up in the shopping cart. If I take the attribute away the correct price shows. Anyone else have this issue? Any solutions?

Thanks!

I had the same problem, and found that it was linked to the tax system.

Solved it by deleting all but one tax class and setting the remaining class to 0%

I am having the same problem. When I add an attribute to a product, even with all options set to 0.00, the price increases on the page displayed. You can see it load the page with the right price then quickly calculate a price jump.

I do need to charge local sales tax of 6.5% in state but that is the only tax class I have.
