Thumbnails (thickbox_default) not showing on some browsers

Hello,

I am having big issues with the thumnails for a week now.

 

See attached picture with above a page in Mozilla where the thumbnails is shown correctly, whereas in google chrome the URL is lightly amended:

 

Correct is:

www.dampwinkel.be/699-thickbox_default/eleaf-bdc-atomizer-head.jpg

 

Wrong is:

www.dampwinkel.be/699-thickbox_default-bgrNbGBE9U/eleaf-bdc-atomizer-head.jpg

 

This happens randomly on different PC's

Looks good to me on Chrome, Firefox,Opera, Safari and Edge :-)

 

Maybe same browser caching issue ? Try to open in Chrome incognito window.

Is there a way to clear the cache from the backoffice on all the clients?

Well you can clear cache in Back office > Advanced Preferences > Performance and top right corner.

But that is already ok as customers should see correct page. 

 

And if you ask how to push customers to clean their browser cache, I am not sure.

Issue is the existing customers, like myself: they will have the issue when accessing the URL.

Currently I only got the issue on Google Chrome, with IE and Firefox the images load correctly.
